When to schedule maintenance

What an inspection covers
Roof and seals
Every penetration, seam, and edge rail inspected individually, with sealant condition reported honestly — what needs attention now versus what can wait a season.
Water systems
Pressure test for leaks, pump operation, water heater function and anode condition, tank valves, and sensor accuracy.
Electrical
Shore power connection and cord condition, converter output, battery health under load, ground integrity, and a check of the panel for anything running warm.
Propane and appliances
Leak check on the gas system, regulator function, and operation of the refrigerator, furnace, water heater, and cooktop on both gas and electric where applicable.
Chassis and running gear
Tire age and condition — not just pressure — plus wheel bearings, brakes, suspension components, and lights. Tire age is the single most overlooked safety item on RVs in this climate.

Texas heat sets its own maintenance schedule
Manufacturer service intervals are written for a national average, and Central Texas is well outside it. Roof sealant, slide seals, awning fabric, and tires all age from UV and heat rather than from miles, which means a rig that sits in a Kyle storage lot all year is aging in exactly the ways that matter most.
Tires are the clearest example. RV tires routinely time out before they wear out, and a tire that looks perfect can be years past the point where it should have been replaced.
